Auto Camp site

The auto camping site has 12 spacious sites where you can stay comfortably.

You can enjoy a luxurious time by camping alone or spend time with friends and family.

Asoubay Park is located in the center of Tsushima, so you can use it as a base for sightseeing around Tsushima.

Marine Leisure

Aso Bay is a ria coastline made up of complex inlets and numerous islands, and the entire area is designated as part of the Iki-Tsushima Quasi-National Park.

You can enjoy canoeing and SUP experiences in Aso Bay! You will be required to wear a life jacket and an instructor will teach you how to enjoy the activities, so you can feel safe.

After enjoying the sea, having a barbecue at the auto campsite and eating a meal with friends and family will create some wonderful memories.

Taisyu Horse Ranch

At AsouBay Park, you can ride, photograph, and interact with the Taisyu horses, a breed of horse native to Japan that has been designated a natural monument.

They also accommodate visits for school events. The Taisyu horses are very gentle and docile, so they are very popular with children and you can interact with them without worry.

Multipurpose Plaza

The multipurpose plaza has large play equipment that children will love, allowing them to play to their heart's content.

There is also a large lawn nearby, so the possibilities for fun are endless, from picnics with the whole family to playing ball or badminton.

There is also a rest area where parents can relax while their children play. For a limited time, simple drinks are also available for purchase.

Field Athletic

The field athletics area, located near the parking lot above the Tsushima Horse Ranch, is equipped with a wide variety of play equipment, including a sandbox, Tarzan ropes, log steps, and combination play equipment.

Trekking

There is a walking trail around the auto campsite where you can enjoy trekking. From March to April, you can enjoy a walk while looking at the Genkai azalea flowers.

Fishing

The sea is right next to the auto campsite, so you can enjoy fishing. If you fish on the rocky shores along the coast, you might catch a big fish.

A wide variety of flowers

AsouBay Park is home to many flowers that have grown wild for a long time, as well as flowers planted by staff and volunteer groups.

We hope you will come and see the magnificent sight of the flowers in full bloom. We also welcome you to take photos to keep as a memory, or post them on social media for everyone to see.

A natural park that coexists with nature

A trail camera installed deep inside AsouBay Park captured a photo of a Tsushima wildcat, which is designated as a natural monument.

Furthermore, there have been reports of Tsushima wildcat droppings and sightings on the premises, and the Tsushima wildcat is steadily expanding its habitat area.

AsouBay Park aims to be a natural park that coexists with nature.

Access

ACCESS

If you are using public transport

  • Tsushima Airport → Take the Tsushima traffic Bus bound for Hitakatsu → Get off at Tamaduke → 30 minutes walk
  • Izuhara Port → Take the Tsushima traffic Bus bound for Hitakatsu → Get off at Tamaduke → 30 minutes walk
  • Hitakatsu Port → Take the Tsushima traffic Bus bound for Izuhara → Get off at Tamaduke → 30 minutes walk

If you are using a car, rental car, or taxi

  • From Tsushima Airport: Head north on National Route 382 for 9 km (15 minutes) to AsouBay Park
  • From Izuhara Port: Head north on National Route 382 for 19 km (30 minutes) to AsouBay Park
  • From Hitakatsu Port: Head south on National Route 382 for 60km (1 hour 30 minutes) to AsouBay Park
