It blooms in brackish water inlets on ria coastlines, but is designated as an endangered species in Nagasaki Prefecture.

Hemerocallis hakuunensis

This yellow flower is said to grow only in Tsushima in Japan.

It is a beautiful flower that resembles a lily, but its numbers are decreasing due to damage caused by deer.

Golden tiger lily

This yellow flower is a mutant species of tiger lily and is native to Tsushima.

Tsushima tiger lilies produce seeds from their shoots, so over the years various genes have mixed together, resulting in a mutation that gave rise to the golden tiger lily.
